Janine Holbrook
Janine joined Arlington Health & Rehabilitation in the Administrator role in early 2023.  This role supports all residents and staff to assure everyone has what they need for the most comfortable and quality stay for short-term and long-term residents at our facility. 
Janine is a nurse by background and has held many nursing leadership positions in her career, primarily in hospitals.  Janine has found the move to Skilled Nursing and Long-term Care at Arlington Health and Rehab to be highly fulfilling and rewarding.  She loves getting to know our residents and you will often see her in the dining room or in resident’s rooms enjoying great conversations.
Janine is a native to North Dakota and graduated from the University of North Dakota with a bachelor’s degree in nursing.  She went on to attain a master’s degree in Community Health Nursing from Seattle University.  In her free time, she also enjoys spending time with family and friends, escape rooms, hiking and biking – but especially biking!

Brooke Pugh
Brooke joined Arlington Health and Rehab in April 2023, bringing over 20 years of experience in bookkeeping and administrative duties. While her primary focus in the past was billing and receivables, she is now successfully tackling the other side of the spectrum with payables and payroll.
Brooke likes learning new things, not just to gain knowledge and be more efficient, but to help teach others as well. In the past, she has put her skills as a natural helper and passion for employee wellness to use in helping to create a Wellness Program for her previous employer. This segues into her additional charge in running the Fun Committee. In this capacity she works interdepartmentally to create fun and unifying moments with all staff to elevate the culture.  
When she isn’t working, you can find Brooke in her garden, knitting something, or doing something creative/artsy. She loves being a mom, enjoys “wind therapy” with her hubby, and snuggles/playtime with her pups, Stella, Henry, and Copper.

Virgina Potterf Bio
Virgina began her nursing practice at Arlington Health and Rehab in 2018. In her role as a Nurse Manager, she oversees and supports the nursing staff in the skilled nursing setting, supervises quality assurance programs and provides staff education. 

Virgina brings more than 35 years in Long Term Care  experience to her role. She graduated for Skagit Valley College with her LPN and has a passion for working with the elderly.

She was a Northern California native and has been living in WA for about 30 years. Along with her husband Art, she has 2 children and with two upcoming additions will have 5 grandchildren. Virgina has 2 dogs, Buddy and Pistol, 3 horses, enjoys hiking, nature and spending time with family and friends. She has been known to say she “Enjoys life’s ride!”

Rodger Bowman

Dietary Manager

Rodger Bowman Bio
Rodger joined the Arlington Health & Rehab team in early 2014 and is the stellar Dietary Manager. He has raised the bar on the quality, presentation, options and flavors in each and every meal.

Prior to joining Arlington Health & Rehabilitation’s management team, Rodger was employed in the food service department at Skagit Valley Hospital for nearly three decades and spent many years running a family-owned restaurant. These experiences honed his culinary skills and ability to competently manage a diverse task list.

In his free-time, Rodger enjoys bowling, camping, and traveling. He has three grown children and five grandchildren with whom he loves spending quality time.

Social Services Director

Ruth Weaver Bio
Ruth joined the management team at Arlington Health and Rehab as Director of Social Services in the Spring of 2023, bringing with her experience in behavioral health and care coordination. 
In this capacity, Ruth’s primary responsibilities include developing and coordinating the social service portion of each resident’s overall plan of care to meet medically related social and emotional needs. She is an advocate for each resident to ensure they receive the highest quality of life possible while residing and receiving care at Arlington Health and Rehabilitation.

Ruth studied for her bachelor’s degree in psychology with an emphasis in crisis counseling at Liberty University.  She has earned several Mental Health Certificates including Alzheimer’s Mental Health, Trauma Informed Care, Geriatric Psychology and Responding to Escalated Individuals.

In her off time, Ruth enjoys gardening and interior design.  She has two grown children who are her pride and joy.

Business Office Manager

Mindy Todd Bio
Mindy has been a part of Nightingale Healthcare for six years and has over two decades of professional experience. She came to Arlington Health and Rehab in the Spring of 2023. She brings with her fine-tuned expertise and knowledge as a Business Office Manager and is a true asset to our team.

Mindy’s primary responsibilities are related to supporting the financial and accounting needs of the facility and our residents.  Mindy has her Billing and Coding Specialist certificate from Everett Community College and is a certified medical coder with AAPC CPC certification.

When she’s not at work, you can often find Mindy thrifting and spending time with her family. She is married to her wonderful husband, Andy, and has two sons, Andrew and Jacob. She is also “mama” to two dogs, Sherman and Poe.

Therapy Manager

Hector Zamora Bio
Hector joined our team in the Fall of 2022 as the Director of Rehab. His primary duties include managing the therapy department through coordination and supervision of each resident’s individual plans of treatment and care.
Hector received his associate in science in Occupational Therapy Assistance from Keiser University in Tallahassee, Florida in December 2013. And has been a practicing Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant and Director of Rehab for over 9 years. Hector has the advantage of having worked in many states, from east coast to west coast, and he stated that “none have brought me as much joy than here in Arlington.
“I very much enjoy my job as a treating therapist and a manager, with the main goal to provide the best possible care to our residents. I believe that this therapy department takes the time and effort necessary to create Individual plans of treatment that reflects the resident’s goal of returning home safely.” Hector added. 
 During Hector’s free time, his favorite thing to do is to spend time with his lovely wife, Lisa, their 5 Chinchillas and 3 dogs: Sahara, Ella, and Lucy. Together they spend most of the time anywhere near water, mainly because “our girls love to swim.” They love to travel, mainly by car, so everyone can go together. “We are a family and plan to make memories everywhere we go.”
Sheena Frantz

Staff Development & Infection Control

Sheena Frantz Bio
Sheena was born and raised in California’s central valley and moved to Washington in the Fall of 2020. In December of 2015 Sheena graduated with her LVN at the Institute of Technology in Redding, CA. She later received her Nursing Home Infection Prevention certificate in the Spring of 2022.

Sheena brings with her 7 years of nursing experience, and a decade of experience working as a pharmacy technician. Sheena started as a floor nurse here at Arlington Health & Rehab in the Spring of 2021. A year later became the Staff Development Coordinator & Infection Prevention Nurse. In the capacity of Staff Development Coordinator, she is responsible for maintaining staff vaccines, licenses, and in-service records. She also oversees in-service implementation, conducts audits as well as NAC meetings, trainings, annual evaluations, and skills.

In her free time, Sheena loves to travel, relax on the beach, go camping, & spend time with her husband Kyle, two stepdaughters, and family in California. She is a huge animal lover and fur mamma to four dogs, Bohdi, Charly, Marley, & Poppy.

Dennis Robertson

Maintenance Director

Dennis Robertson Bio
Dennis Became Maintenance Director in the Fall of 2022. He diligently monitors and maintains the facility repairs and alterations, while working closely with the residents and their needs.

Dennis developed a greater compassion for people of age when in 2020, working as a Customer Service Manager for a Shoreline construction company, his father in-law took ill with dementia. He and his wife, with proper training, stepped in and became caregivers. Once his father in-law passed, Dennis believed with his training and experience with dementia there could be a need for him in healthcare. With his newfound knowledge combined with over 4 decades of construction, Dennis is the perfect match for the quality standard we hold at Arlington Health and Rehab.

Dennis feels blessed to have been married 40 years to his loving wife Tammy and to have four beautiful children, enjoys the outdoors, motorcycles and their cat named Sam.

Life Enrichment Director

Eileen Choate Bio
Eileen joined Arlington Health & Rehabilitation as its Life Enrichment Director in early 2019 with a mission to provide quality of life to her residents. She has done just that, fulfilling her purpose through engaging, interactive, and rewarding one-on-one and group activities for the individuals she serves. In the capacity of Life Enrichment Director, Eileen is responsible for the development and coordination of activities programs for the community that reflects the varied interests of the residents and provides them with meaningful and life enriching activities.

Bringing with her over a decade of professional expertise, Eileen understands the value of elevating her residents’ lives through personal engagement and enrichment. “I like to think that I bring joy each day to my residents!” adds Eileen. She has continued to further her education with receiving Certificates in Decoding Distress, The Well-Being Approach and Reaching Beyond Antipsychotics.

Prior to joining the team at Arlington Health & Rehab, Eileen was a certified nursing assistant for seven years, as well as an activities assistant for four years.

Eileen is a native to Hawaii and is fascinated by other cultures. In her free time, she also enjoys home décor, crafts, going to museums, self-improvement, and spending time with her family.  She has been married for 24 years to her husband, William, and is also a mother to her daughter Eizalynn. She is a fur-mama to two cats, Momo and Binx, and their dog, Freckles.

Admissions & Marketing

Jessica Moreno Bio
Jessica joined the Arlington Health and Rehab team as the Admissions and Marketing Director in the Spring of 2023. In this capacity, she acts as the liaison between the skilled nursing facility and the hospital so that residents are afforded a seamless transition and arrival experience that is void of the normal stresses and anxiety that are synonymous with these situations. In addition, Jessica reviews all referrals and inquiries, making sure that the facility is well-equipped to manage the potential resident’s unique needs, while also creating and nurturing relationships within the surrounding community through marketing efforts and special events.

Prior to her arrival at Arlington Health & Rehabilitation, Jessica worked as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant in urgent care. 
In her free time, Jessica enjoys hiking and watching her son play in a competitive soccer league.

Joann Brown

Housekeeping & Laundry Manager

Joann has been a valued part of the Arlington Health & Rehab team since 1997 as a housekeeper. In 2020 she joined the management team and has blossomed into a wonderful leader. With over two decades of professional standards, Joann manages an outstanding team that focuses on providing a clean and welcoming environment for all those who enter our doors. 
 In addition, she has run the Facility’s Safety Committee for about 5 years. Joann leads a team of individuals from all departments to ensure safety in all aspects, both short- and long-term goals.
 Being a Washington small town native, Joann connects with the residents and staff here on personal levels. Joann has nine grandchildren who are her greatest pride and joy. She loves traveling, shopping, watching her grandchildren play sports, making meaningful memories and spreading kindness.
Stephanie Groshong

Medical Records Director

Stephanie Groshong Bio
Stephanie has worked in the Medical Records Department at Arlington Health and Rehabilitation for 24 years. First as the Medical Records Assistant starting in 1999, then becoming the Director of Medical Records in 2006. In this capacity her main responsibilities are maintaining complete and accurate resident records, entering physician orders, ICD-10 coding of resident diagnosis and responding to Medical Record requests.

She has also worked in the Social Services and Activities department in 2005 while she was the Medical Records Assistant and was the MDS Coordinator from 2006 to 2012 while Medical Records Director.

Stephanie has 28 years of experience in the healthcare/office support field with prior experience as an administrative assistant for The City of Everett.

In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, a daughter, son and one grandson. She loves music, attending many concerts every year and likes movies, traveling and reading.
